We stumbled across this through a Hotel booking site and I am very pleased that we did. We wanted a hotel that we could use as a base for our skiing trip.
From the moment that you walk in to the hotel, the friendliness of the staff is evident. Me and my adult son were shown to our room (Junior Suite.. Two rooms and a Bathroom with a small balcony) and even helped with our bags.
Unfortunately the Restaurant was not open in the evenings for us as it was a little out of season, but the Breakfast was really good.
It was a cold day outside but inside the hotel is warm and welcoming.
There is an indoor swimming pool which was clean and warm, with a sauna and showers.
There are ski lockers, although we didn’t use them this time.
The hotel is clean and well kept and every member of staff is friendly and is a real credit to the hotel. They all clearly enjoy working there.
There are also apartments available at this hotel.
Well done to everybody at Le Griyotire Hotel as you made our stay very welcoming. I hope to come back at some point with my wife.
The shops are all easily accessible on foot, with ski shops and restaurants also close by.
Excellent Thank you to all of the staff at Le Griyotire
Excellent for families, very well located versus the skiing area and village center. Apartments are very comfortable for groups of 6. You also have the chance to pay for breakfast and dinner, but the apartments are well equipped.
We stayed one week in half board and we were entirely satisfied. Thanks to all personnel who is extremely nice. Dinner is very good and copious and very various breakfast. The hotel is calm. We will not hesitate to come back.
“Excellent Savoyard fondue”
We were among friends and enjoyed the warm atmosphere of this hotel restaurant. Savoyard fondue is excellent, savoy wines at reasonable prices, to spend a good evening with friends.
We appreciated the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the spa, the north facing location facing the sun and the snowy slopes. Calm.
Nice home, beautifull place, people kind and useful, great restaurant… specially when they cooked regional foods with cheese and mushrooms. Near you have a nice ski resort, on roads you have easy tracks and the high side for advanced skiers. If you want to visit Alps you should considere this… no crowed as Megeve or Chamonix
Location was good, a little quiet if you’re planning to stay more than a couple of days, though the village did have a lovely community feel. Loved the overall look and style of the hotel very pretty and very cosy. We enjoyed using the pool. All the staff we encountered were excellent and very friendly..
“Quaint yet modern with good facilities”
Quaint and modern, good facilities and well located. Great staff.
“We keep coming back”
Our sixth stay already, although first time in the appartments. It is really excellent: nice staff, well-equiped, wonderful new spa with indoor pool….
“Very convenient and easy”
Location, cleanliness, friendliness
“A very welcoming and comfortable hotel”
Very pleasant staff made us feel very welcome and the quality of the meals were excellent.
We received a very nice welcome by Jenny and given a choice of rooms – opting for a front, corner room with dual aspect on the second floor. Small but well appointed; clean and we grew to like it a lot. Views in both directions and the village church nearby with its bells which charm and annoy at times but all part of the ambience. There are some lovely, scenic walks in the area and we had no need to resort to the car for a few days. The food in the restaurant offers local and other dishes and is excellent value and choice on demi-pension. A thoroughly enjoyable stay at a reasonable price. All the staff are excellent and friendly but thank you Jessica for being very patient with my non french speaking wife’s questions. Recommend a stay here.
